Sustainable Silverware Program at Wilton Farmers’ Market

Sustainable Silverware Program @Wilton Farmers’ Market

Since the middle of July, WGG and Wilton Congregational Church have been supplying real forks and spoons for the food vendors at the market, so people have the option of NOT using single-use plastic when they have lunch there. We call it the “Sustainable Silverware” program, and it’s part of our Zero Waste Wilton initiative. We’re keeping single-use plastics out of the waste stream! Market will reopen next Spring and be open every Wednesday from noon- 5 PM through late October 2019 at Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road, Wilton.
