Every dollar that comes in directly supports our mission to:
- engage the community in initiatives and programs that advance a culture of conservation and
- educate residents, schools, and businesses about best practices, thereby
- promote & support efforts by the Town of Wilton and other Wilton organizations to achieve environmental sustainability.
Notable Accomplishments and Initiatives in 2024:
- Honored our community members at our 2nd Annual Community Celebration.
- Hosted TWO Repair Cafes with partner Cannon Grange.
- Honored our fourth Wilton High School Senior with a $1000 scholarship.
- Hosted two engaging and informative Green Speaker Series events with our partner Wilton Library
- Held our 4th Annual Halloween Costume Exchange with over 200 costumes donated and many, many happy shoppers.
- Continued our collaboration with Wilton Land Trust and Wilton Library for Books & A Blanket Program
- Hosted a second Community Shredding Event with Circle of Care
- Tabled at multiple community events teaching attendees about reducing waste, recycling right and reducing food waste including sponsoring food scrap collection at the Wilton Chamber of Commerce Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair as well as Ambler Farm Day
